Jasmine Noureddin

School Administrator

Sister Jasmine has a background in social marketing and community development. She has worked on diverse community engagement programs and campaigns for the past seven years in both consulting and managerial levels. Her experience in community program development and non-profit fundraising provide her with the needed skills to manage and support the school’s growth. Sister Jasmine is fluent in English and Arabic and she holds an Honours B.A. in Political Science and English from the University of Toronto and a Masters Degree in Political Science from McMaster University.

Mehdia Masood Lodhi

Science & Technology

Sister Mehdia has been teaching for different school boards in the Toronto area since 2007. She brings to the school an enthusiastic and passionate approach to children’s education. Her experience includes teaching all aspects of Science as well as Computer Studies. Sister Mehdia is fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi. Sister Mehdia is an Ontario certified teacher with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. She also holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan.

Naheed Mashhadi

English & Social Studies

Sister Naheed has been teaching for the past 11 years in the Toronto area as well as abroad. She has a passion for teaching along with the ability to respond effectively to the differing educational and emotional needs of students coming from diverse backgrounds. Sister Naheed encourages students to engage in meaningful debates and coaches our parliamentary style debating team; preparing students for competitions and public speaking. Sister Naheed is fluent in English, Urdu and Farsi. She holds a Masters Degree in School Administration in addition to a B.A in English.

Sister Majida Saab

Mathematics

Sister Majida has been teaching in the Toronto area for the past 13 years. She has a passion for teaching children and has received numerous bursaries along with the Principal Award for Academic Excellence at Glyndon College. She is highly motivated and organized with excellent interpersonal skills. Sister Majida is fluent in English, Arabic and French. Sister Majida holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics as well as in Biology and Natural Science from York University. She also completed a diploma in Arabic Literature.

Hala Rachini

Arabic & French

Sister Hala has 15 years experience teaching languages. She has taught both French and Arabic and takes a hands-on approach to individualized lesson-planning. Sister Hala is energetic and has practical knowledge of personalizing language instructions so students coming from a vast range of backgrounds and levels become comfortable with the idea of learning additional languages and as a result, enhance their skills. Sister Hala is fluent in English, French and Arabic and holds several teaching certifications from Ontario and abroad as well as Standard First Aid & C.P.R. Level C Certification.

Naheed Rezaei

Islamic Studies & Physical Education

Sister Naheed has over 11 years of teaching experience both in Canada and her native Iran. She has a passion for working with children and their families, providing an effective and pleasant learning experience for all. Sister Naheed has been instrumental in developing our Islamic Studies program and is skilled in instructing all levels of physical ability in fun and creative ways. Sister Naheed is fluent in English, Farsi and Arabic. She holds a Bachelor of Education from Imam Sadeq University, Iran in addition to a Diploma in Elementary Education from Roghye Teachers College, Iran. She also has CPR & First Aid Certificate from the Canadian Red Cross.

Masooma Zehra

Pre-school & Kindergarten Program

Sister Masooma has over 10 years teaching experience in different schools within the Toronto area and many more years teaching in her native Pakistan. Sister Masooma is very “goals and results” oriented and is able to motivate students to perform at their highest levels in a kind and caring way. She is Early Childhood Educator certified and supervises the Preschool-Senior Kindergarten curriculum. Sister Masooma is fluent in English and Urdu. In addition to her ECE Diploma from Seneca College, sister Masooma has completed her Montessori Teachers Training Certification. She has also completed her CPR level C and Standard First Aid.

Fatemah Dost Mohamed

Pre-school & Kindergarten Program

Sister Fatemah has many years experience instructing preschool-SK aged schoolchildren. Her passion lies with helping students get a head start towards their academic success by ensuring a solid foundation is built in the beginning of their educational careers. Sister Fatemah is a certified Montessori instructor and brings experience from her practices and educational background to help create a caring and nurturing class atmosphere.

Sister Kanwal Fatima Rizvi

Pre-school & Kindergarten Program

Sister Kanwal holds a Bachelor of Science from Karachi University and has held various teaching positions with a wide range in school ages and subjects. Sister Kanwal has over 11 years teaching experience and brings knowledge of various teaching methodologies and cultural practices to the class. Her warm and friendly nature is inviting to our children and her past experience in the field helps create a successful setting in the class.
