Grade 1 - 7
Each day begins with the recitation of Holy Quran, Dua and Canadian National Anthem at 8:30 am. During this full day program students receive expert teaching instruction from caring model teachers, based on Ministry of Ontario Curriculum using the books recommended by them and augmented with Islamic teaching material. Each grade has different expectations and as children progress through different grades their responsibility and expectations increase.

Grade One
Our Grade One students learn to cooperate as a community of learners while being exposed to a stimulating environment. The Grade One program will excite your child's imagination and encourage cognitive development. Our program provides young children with opportunities to develop their intellectual, social, emotional, and physical well-being. Through interaction with classmates and with the Haadi community, each child develops an attachment to something larger than himself.
The goal in Grade One is to ensure that students are able to gather information from oral, visual, material, print, or electronic sources. At this stage they are prompted to use comparison in investigations and use information or observations to form an educated opinion. The true test is to validate all they have learned and observed articulated in a manner that is consistent with Islam.
Enhancing skills in critical thinking and problem solving are important objectives continuing from Senior Kindergarten. Similar methodologies of small groups to the whole class room setup are used with a free choice of activities in order to strengthen the bonding, decision making, trust and team building.
Grade Two
In Grade Two we strive to foster feelings of confidence and self worth and to encourage trust, consideration and respect for others and their property. Children learn kindness and compassion towards people and other living things. We work with children to help develop skills necessary for effective problem solving. We help them use language effectively to communicate with adults and other children. We provide opportunities for them to use their senses to enjoy and explore their environment: all of this in a wholesome Islamic environment with an emphasis on a solid introduction to reading, writing, and mathematics.
Grade Three
In Grade Three we engage and nourish the mind, body and soul of the whole child. To achieve this aim, the curriculum provides a balance between the sciences, the humanities, and the arts. The subjects taught, and specifically the way in which they are taught, are presented in developmentally appropriate ways: the early imitative years, the imaginative middle years, and the vigorous intellectual years of adolescence.
Every day beginning at 8:30 am with dua, a core subject is studied in-depth. Subjects such as Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, History and Quran are presented by the class teacher: being a mediator between the child and the outside world bringing a balance. The result is a journey filled with all the excitements, challenges, and successes and without the pitfalls that exist in the public school system.
The students are introduced to beginning grammar; poetry; drama; Fairy tales; nature stories; folk tales; fables; legends; stories from the Quran. Emphasis is provided on their reading skills. We continue building on Grade two with Numbers, mathematical processes of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, time's tables, mental arithmetic and measurement. They are challenged artistically by drawing of linear patterns, symmetry and mirror drawing. At this stage the children are introduced to the cycles of nature, composting and recycling, gardening, farming, and house building some of which is a continuation of Grade two but with more detail
